The words resounded around his head; beating, thrashing, hurting, repeating. The buzzing in the atmosphere whirred, and the old, unforgotten feelings creep up on him like a bang. He has lived hard days. It is as if where-ever he goes, a curse of the worst possible kind is doomed to follow. A taboo painstakingly etched like a vivid tattoo on his forehead. That is, if they could even see him - a fact he began to doubt, as even in the pits of intense hate, it is surely impossible to ignore so surely, so thouroughly! He peers out from his prison, the sight is blinding - freedom, escape. Every moment he remains here, trapped, the world dashes by

you know that feeling, the warm one where you do something..   and people stop and look at you in a new light and you say: This is me.

Your nerves are fraying like the sparks in my electrical cables. They attach to muscles, to cells, to atoms, to you. Amongst all this scientific jargon, Where are you? Which who are you? Roses bloom in the sky. It'll be hot tomorrow. Is the blood pumping your very life, is that hot, too? Where are you, I wonder. The bones forming your body are jagged Sticking out at angles, I do not care to measure. Do you stick out? Have you found your place? I see you running, tendons straining lungs aching not enough to stop, just enough to breathe. How much pain, is pain enough to stop?

the incandescent bulb burns before me. the light it offers me presents a paradox, of sorts. While it surely renders vision to those under its scope, it nonetheless reflects how very blinded we are. industrial revolution. communism. agriculturalism. my brief forays into historical archives, whether truthful, sinful, arrogant, pained or kind - i cannot but note, that change of any dramatic magnitude rarely bodes well. the light is still on. music is pumping from the stereo. sitting cross-legged as i type. this poem is a paradox i wonder if you understand? the debate about nuclear. for once, i think the stereotypes got it rig

loneliness is a strange thing, fickle and unkind. it can snatch you up in a moment.. the real you is gone in a second. i havent felt this lonely in awhile as if all the world's forgotten, that im still standing here alone. won't someone  save me? can't anybody hear? don't say i've done this to myself.. the pain is more than i can bear. where are you? dont know whether you will come. Or not.

   Someday, we begin. Perhaps one day we wake one morning and find our eyes have changed. The shades through which we view all life, no longer tinted, but pure - untouched.   Someday we begin. In those moments when the sun first kisses your skin. Embraces you, adoring and loving, just as your person deserves. This light you feel is a daily miracle - the gift of a heavenly star.   Someday we begin - Toes sinking into sand, the remnants of centuries. Each very particle... once part of another, at one time real as your spirit. It rubs raw, exposing a soul - Real, under all aspiration.

standing here, on a path worn thin by your constant need. Not of me. But what I stand for, what I do. All those childhood days of longing gone, desirous of being wanted. Why has this life been so fixed on proving - my youthful self as hopeful?  Wrong.
